Preschool Registration
Linden Public Schools will begin accepting appointments for registration for FREE Preschool for 3- and 4-year-old children for the 2026–2027 school year on January 5, 2026. Children must turn 3 or 4 years old by October 1, 2026, and families must be Linden residents.
Preschool registration will take place by appointment only from January 20, 2026 through February 12, 2026 at the Central Registration Office (100 Edgewood Road). Registration is not held at individual schools.
Families are encouraged to review the attached flier for full details, required documents, and scheduling information. To make an appointment, please call 908-986-9307. Registration packets are available on the Linden Public Schools website or at the Central Registration Office.

OUR MISSION
The Early Childhood Department is committed to creating a positive learning environment in which all children can succeed. Based on the Tools of the Mind curriculum and the Pre-K Teaching and Learning Standards, children are provided with the cognitive, academic and social skills necessary for optimal learning. Activities are designed to promote the development of self-regulation, which increases children’s ability to learn. The Tools of the Mind curriculum builds children’s foundational skills in literacy and mathematics. Instruction is scaffolded to meet the individual learning needs of each student. We strive to include families and the community as part of our educational team through newsletters, classroom visits, family programs, and class trips. Together we build the foundation for the future. |
